Cecile Clay (b. 2/7/1908) married Francis Mullins; their children were:

Clyde Mullins (b. 9/24/1930) who married Gerry Harvey, their children were Renee who married Phillip Turner, Kim who married Rusty Beckner and Mike Mullins.  Clyde died in 2010. Mike and Renee died in 2015.

Hazel Doris, “Lucille,” who married Sloan Southerlin; their daughter is Paige who married Gale Thompson.  Their children are Bethany and Adam. 

Eula Jean who married Lee Compton; their daughter was Doris who married — Love; their son is Bo who married Sharon ———.  Jean died in September 1991. Doris died in ———. Lee died in ———.

Cecile died 1/7/1965 and Jean died in September 1991, both with cancer. Francis died in —– with Parkinson ’s disease. Lucille and husband Sloan Southerlin, were teachers.

Norman Clair Clay (b. 8/11/1910 – d. 12/6/1986), married (4/20/1935) Edith Ray Erwin, (11/26/1913 –  ) both teachers, and their children were:

Norman Lewis, (b. 6/25/1937 – 12/6/1986), who married (9/28/1957 ) Sarah Ann Graham, (b. 3/8/1938); their children were William Lewis “Bill”, (b. 9/24/1959), who married ____ and whose daughter is Ashley Elizabeth Clay (b. 7/23/1989).  Robert Edward “Eddie” (b. 11/26/1961) who married  (9/28/1987) Cheri Lynn Hatchell, (b. 3/10/1962)

Bertha Jo Green, (b. 4/27/1944), whose sons Charley Joe and Francis Weston “Wes” died young.

Norma Jean “Jeannie” Wester, whose children are Clay, who died young, and Deanna “Cricket,” who married — Garland and whose children are Reagan and Parker.

All were teachers. Norman died in December, 1986 with a stroke.

Greathel married Ruth Bise and their children were

Helen Bea, who married Coeburn Rasnick. Their children were Jimmy who married Vickie — and whose children are Coeburn Rasnick and Melissa —; Pat Rasnick; Danny Rasnick who married Anita — and died young (8/5/1984); their son is Wesley Rasnick.

Claire Lee (8/6/__ – 8/14/1995) who married (12/17/1953) Gene Conley. Their children were Gail Conley, Brenda who married Dean Rose and then David Stanley and whose children are James Rose who married Melissa ___, Jeanie Rose who married Kevin O’Quinn, David Stanley and Crystal ___; Debbie who married Greg Bunch and whose stepdaughter is Noie Bunch;  Margaret (b. 8/19/__) who married Randy Mullins and whose daughter is Kaylee Mullins;  Wayne Conley who married ____; Gay (b. 2/13/__), who married David Carlton and whose sons are Tony (b. 10/5/__) and Rusty (b.1/16/__); and Mike Conley (b.10/12/__) who married Renee ___and whose daughters are Ashley Renee Mullins (10/16/__)(step), Michaela Conley (b. 8/12/__) and Kelsey Conley (b. 5/10/__).

Donald Clay,  (b. 7/22/1939), married Gail Potter (Almond) and had three children: Virginia Clay who died in infancy; Scott Wayne Clay (10/28/1962); Rebecca “Becky”Ann Clay Nagel (b. 3/13/1965) and died  in 2004. Donald remarried Ramonabelle Fleming (b. 3/1/1943) and had two children: Jeffrey Donald Clay (b. 12/27/1973) and Wesley  Hunter Clay (b.9/21/1976); Rickie, is the son of Ramonabelle by an earlier marriage; Scott Clay married Lenora Smith in 1981 and had two children: Jeremy Clay b 1982 and Christina Clay Casey b 1984. Rebecca Clay Nagel married Mark Nagel and had three children: Markie Nagel; Kimberly Nagel; and James Nagel. Becky later had a son Nicholas Scopas.  Jeff Clay married Jodi Fouts Clay and has one son Travis Clay.  Jeremy Clay married Megan — and has one daughter Audrey Clay b 2010. Christina Clay Casey married Steven Casey and has one son Hunter Casey b 2004.

Roger Clay who married Sheryl Smith; their children were Rachael Flatch, Rebel Hammet, Regina Jordon, Robin Fritch and John Clay who was adopted from Vietnam. Regina’s daughter is Emma Jordon.  Robin’s son is Christopher Combs.

Robert “Bobby” Clay (d. 2008) who married Reba Fleming; Children are Ricky Clay, Glenda (Clay) Moore, Doug Clay, Keith Clay. 

Ricky Clay had 2 daughters Beth Clay & Lauren Clay

children are Chris Clay (DOB: Nov 30th ?), Michael Moore (DOB March 12 ?), Kellie Moore (DOB 12/12/1990), Zachary Moore (DOB 6/24/1992)

Samual “Sammy” Clay who married Catherine Counts; their son is Michael “Mike” Clay; granddaughter Shana.

Jack “Jackie” Clay who married Wanda Stidham; their children were Kelly Harvey, (b. 1/29/__), Michelle Clay Mullins (b. 11/13/__) who married Sherman Mullins and whose daughter is Hannah; Angela “Angie” Baker (b. 10/2/__), and Jennifer Slemp Ramey,  (b. 2/11/__), whose children are Lily and Ethan Slemp.

Ronald “Ronnie” Clay, (b. 4/__/1977), who married Teresa Willis and left one daughter, Paige Clay when he was killed in a mining accident.

Greathel died November 1976 with lung cancer and Clara, who had a liver transplant, later died in ——-. Clara’s daughter, Gail, was a teacher and died in 2009.

Arnold Clay  (10/8/1913 – 5/1/1987) married Eda Carty, (b. 1/13/__), both teachers, and their children were:

Aileen (b. 4/25/1934), who married (8/20/__) Dr. Willis Ted Hood, (b. 8/10/1937), a dentist, and whose daughters are Melody Bussy (b. 5/21/1966), and Eda Maria Hood (b. 1/11/1969); Melody married ___ Bussy and their children are Mason and Kristin.

Gloria (b. 1/4/1941) who married — Wallace and later Eddie Lucchese, and whose children are Kris (b. 9/13/1963), Jeff (b. 1/4/1965), Patrick (b.1/4/1965), Michael (b. 9/13/1974) Wallace and stepson Angelo Lucchese; Jeff Wallace married Suzy ___ and their children are Ryan and Ashley.  Patrick Wallace married Jo ___.  Angelo Lucchese married Joy ___.

Carolyn Sue, who married Don Turner and, after Don’s death, married Dean Lardie. Carolyn earned a doctorate and was vice president of Prestonsburg Community College. 

Arnold died in May 1987 with cancer.

Beatrice (Bea) married Radford (Rad) Stanley, both teachers, and then merchants at Modern Hardware and Furniture Company. Their children were:

Patricia Ann, (b. 6/12/1944), who married Cornelius Danny Hopkins, (b. 11/6/__), both teachers,

John Clay, (b. 9/21/1947) who married Suzanne ___ and whose daughter is Jill Stanley Mullins.  Jill married Kenneth “Kenny” Mullins and their sons are Ethan and Aaron. Ann and Danny adopted two sons, John Daniel (b. 2/1/1987) and Joey Hopkins (b. 2/7/1985).

Sally Lura, (7/3/1917 – 11/28/2014), a teacher, married Lawrence Kiser, (8/13/1916 – 9/22/1999), who had a TV repair shop. Their daughters were:

Linda, (11/4/1941 – 1/11/1982) who married Fred Leedy (10/2/1937 – 7/12/1984), both teachers, and both died of cancer.

Thelma Kay Kiser (b. 10/9/1944) married Robert “Bob” Klonis, (b. 12/7/1942). Their daughter, Melissa Suzanne Klonis (b. 5/15/1973), died 1/29/1978 of leukemia.

Harriette, (b. 2/21/1944), an adopted niece (daughter of Lawrence’s sister Thelma French), married Jerry Mullins (7/18/1943). Their children are Jeff Mullins, (b. 10/16/1963) who married Sherry — , (b. 7/31/__), and adopted her son David Mullins, (b. 6/26/1983); Jill Cape, (9/15/1967) who first married Michael Diemer and their son is Zackery Diemer, (b. 2/4/1992); Jacqueline “Jackie” Mullins, (b. 10/9/1977), whose children are Taylor Mullins, (b. 10/12/1994), Christopher “Chris” David King,  (b. 8/3/1998), Alexandria “Alyx” Mullins, (b.  10/26/2002), Sadie Riviotta, (b. 7/25/2006) and Sage Riviotta.  Taylor’s daughter is Harmony.

Emma Orlena, (b. 2/16/1919 – d. 2/1/2007), married Conrad John Stallard, (b. 5/9/1916 – d. 11/14/1984), both teachers, and lived most of their lives in Oregon. Their children are:

Donna Jean (b. 5/17/1941), who married Pedro Cruz II and was secretary to the governor of Saipan; their children are Pedro Cruz III who married Stephanie Acfalle and whose children are Jenerae, Pedro IV and Bonita; Scott Cruz who married Pricilla — and whose children are Nathan, Nolan and Nichole; (step)Debra Cruz who married Steve Caddy; and (step) Rose who married Joe McDermott and whose son is Tad.

Jerry (b. 6/__/__), married Dianne Hastings who worked in the educational field with foreign students. Their children are Justin and Melissa, who married Sean McFall and whose children are Brian and Collin.

Conrad died in 1983.

Vergia, (b.5/21/1921 – d. 6/18/2013), married Bernard Voin Boggs, (b. 2/17/1920) and lived at Pound, Virginia. Their sons were

Voin Clay Boggs, (b. 2/3/1943) who married Irene Hatfield. Voin adopted her two sons.  He died of cancer.

Gregory Lee Boggs, (b. 8/8/1945), who married Lynn Riddle; their children were Scott and Bryan who married Marianne  ____ and their daughter is Suzanna.

John Allen Boggs, (b. 5/12/1949), a military man, who married Kathy Horne. Their daughters are Medina and Carintha who married Anthony Gilliland; their children are Morgan, Kaitlyn and Austin.

Leonard Clay, Jr., (b. 6/12/1923 – d. 2/24/2010), married Helen Harvey, (b. 6/24/1928). Their children are:

Larry Clay, (b. 12/27/1946), who married Sharon Day and did counseling to prison inmates and died of ALS in 2011; their children are Gabriel and Jeremy.

Cathy, (b. 2/11/1952), who married Gene Rowland, both teachers; their children are Amber and Chad.   Chad married Amanda and they have 2 children, Alysse (b. 8/6/2003) and Clay (b. 8/3/2006).  Amber married Reagan Mullins and have 2 boys, Ryland and Kooper.  

Randy Clay, (b. 11/13/1959), who married Ellie Lincoln, both in the medical field. Their children are Nick and Bradley.  Nick married Lacey and they have 3 children and Bradley married Amanda and no children yet.

Leo Clay, (b. 9/13/1925), married Shirley Harvey and was a computer analyst. Their children were:

Debra who married John Mills, a pharmacist, and their children are Jason and _________.

Terri who married Wayne Gillispie and their children are Layla and ____.

Robin who married Larry Oliver and their children are _________.

Jennifer “Gigi” who married Alan Clarke.

Edward Larkin “Eddie” Clay, (b. 9/19/1927), who worked in the nuclear field, married Virginia Broyles, a teacher. Their children are:

Lucinda, who married Alan Sienkiewicz, both teachers; their children are Bradley Sienkiewicz who married Mandy —, and Scott Sienkiewicz who married Carrie Ann —; grandchildren are Jack, Brady and Morgan, (not sure whether Bradley’s or Scott’s children).

Darrell married Lucille Serfass and worked for the Patent Office. Their daughter:

Suzanna married Scott Maker, a broker.
