2018 Clay Family Reunion was a great success and a wonderful time for reconnecting to relatives from near and far. Thanks to Lindsey and his wife Rose for bringing Aunt Virginia by traveling from Pennsylvania to Atlanta and then to Clintwood. We missed some who didn’t make it this year, but hope to see you next year. We enjoyed every minute with those who could come. After the luncheon, several of us traveled to visit the graves of Great Grandfather Jiles Clay and his two wives at Lebanon Church on Caney Ridge. The cemetery is on the top of a high ridge with great long distance views. I hope you all enjoyed the day as much as I did. Here are some of the best pictures.

Giles was the father of my grandfather Joseph Leonard, the progenitor of this branch of the Clay family. In Loving Memory of Patricia Ann Rasnick February 25, 1956 – April 22, 2016
On April 22, 2016. Pat left this world for her Heavenly home. She was born on February 25, 1956, making her stay here sixty years. Pat was a 1976 graduate of Clintwood High School. At the time of Pat’s passing she was employed by HSN of Piney Flats, Tennessee. Other than work she loved to read, go the flea markets and make trips to Pigeon Forge.
Pat will be missed but our loss is Heavens gain. Family members have told us, we will have memories of Pat and her laughter we will never forget.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Cobern and Helen Clay Rasnick; her brother, Danny Rasnick; paternal grandparents, James and Ethel Rasnick; maternal grandparents Greathel and Ruth Clay.
She is survived by her brother Jim Rasnick and wife Vicki Large Rasnick; two nieces, Missy and Sharon Mullins; nephews Coby Rasnick, Wesley Rasnick and Wade Rose; very special uncle and aunt, J. Harold and Dot Rasnick;a host of other uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and classmates.
