Dear Family,

Note that we have changed the date from the last Saturday in June to the third Saturday because some people had conflicts with other reunions and vacation plans.

As older people have died and their numbers have dwindled, our reunions have also shrunk. To revitalize this family event, let’s focus on the children, not the past. Please come and bring your families, especially the children, to celebrate with us. We need you all to keep our extended family connected.

I have heard that some of you have had disagreements with your brothers and/or sisters in the past. Please lay aside those hard feeling just for one day to reconnect with loving, fun people you haven’t seen in a long time, and meet children you have never met. You will find more love than you can imagine.
